The Worldwide Packaging and Photography lead, reporting into the Worldwide Director of Marketing Communications will develop, maintain and execute the way HP communicates to our customers on our packaging. This can often be the only marketing communications that our customers see, making it one of our most important marketing tools.
In this role, the Packaging and Photography lead will create the strategic vision for HP’s packaging and photography for all worldwide content. For worldwide Packaging this role will set the global design, bringing in industry best practices and consumer insights and then partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Packaging Operations and our global Markets to consistently execute. For Photography, this role will develop imagery for use in all our marketing content, managing our Agency Partners and collaborating with our Market stakeholders to ensure that our photography meets the diverse needs of our global consumers and channels.
You are creative but also operationally minded. Have a clear point of view but also listen to your stakeholders and partners. You love bringing the customer perspective into all aspects of the work and are confident in pushing back where needed in order to do what is best for the customer. You have a mix of technical savvy with strong creative vision to bring to life state-of-the-art technology to everyday customers.
Responsibilities:
Briefs, manages and delivers Packaging Playbook that clearly communicates our worldwide packaging design with clear consumer rationale.
Leads all worldwide packaging approvals, ensuring they adhere to the approved Packaging design.
Partners with Worldwide Retail and Etail Leads to create synergies where possible in the consumer journey.
Builds test and learn plan to ensure that insights is factored in all key creative decision making.
Works with Packaging Operations and Worldwide Print Marketing Operations and Planning team to review existing Packaging process and partner on ways to optimize, simplify and improve.
Briefs, manages and delivers all worldwide Photography shoots, exploring best Agency partners to deliver world class content.
Partners with MarCom team and Markets to develop photography brief that clearly documents all market and channel needs.
Works with MarCom Director to continue to evolve HP Photography in our Brand Visual Identity.
Manage Photography and Packaging budgets.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Marketing Communications, ideally in packaging design and execution.
Proven ability to develop creative strategy and communicate creative vision.
Demonstrated competence at influencing others and working cross-functionally.
Strong business acumen and experience in understanding product, sales and marketing constraints.
Experience in agency and budget management.
Aptitude to synthesize data, insights and research to develop creative that is consumer focused and differentiated from our competitor set.
MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

Per the California statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is $120,000- $140,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
