Job Summary
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing and communications campaigns. Tasks include coordinating the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns, designing and creating original content, capturing visual components through video and photography, conducting market research, and assisting with community events.

2. Assists with development, designs and edits of marketing materials and creative for marketing campaigns and events.
3. Coordinates materials and placement with media, distributors and suppliers.
4. Maintains inventory and stock of promotional and marketing materials.
5. Researches market trends competitive products and services by identifying and evaluating characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
6. Supports with planning of meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements with each department; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
7. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
8. Provide general and administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
9. Designs email campaigns and surveys for fundraising appeals and other Agency needs.
10. Assists with maintaining all agency web properties, employing a continuous improvement process to site design and functionality.
11. Analyzes and reports out on web traffic, analytics, engagement and any other metrics as assigned.
12. Assists the Director of Marketing & Communications with photography, videography, graphic design, and proofreading. Archives materials as directed.
13. Creates and manages content for Agency social media accounts.
14. Collaborates with project managers for Agency as assigned to prepare collateral materials for all departmental initiatives including but not limited to: design, ordering/print, assembly and dissemination of materials.
15. Develops and maintains knowledge of marketing, communications, and events of peer organizations to make recommendations for best practices.
16. Participates in staff planning and committee meetings.
17. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, public relations or media studies or related fields.
· Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, etc.)
· Content management system experience (WordPress is ideal).
· Well-versed in social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
· Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
· Highly organized and detail oriented.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Event and project management skills.
· Work with a sense of urgency.
· Be organized and help keep others organized.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $47,000.00 per year
