Position Summary
The CFO will be responsible for leading all accounting, finance and local IT functions for the Holmatro US business. Primary responsibilities include the oversight of accounting operations, monthly close process, monthly forecast updates, annual budget preparation, various financial analyses including identifying and driving cost savings and cash generation activities. They will also oversee the local IT support functions, including business applications, and setting and executing an IT systems roadmap consistent with Madison requirements and Holmatro global strategy. The CFO is expected to operate as a valued business partner and interface with all levels of the organization in support of continued profitable growth and will be a key member of the leadership team. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Be a cultural champion demonstrating trust, a bias for action and entrepreneurship
• Oversight of accounting operations and transactional processes including: credit, collections, billing, payables, cash disbursements, fixed assets, cost accounting and general ledger entries
• Oversight of monthly close process including account reconciliations, currency translations and all internal and external financial and management reporting, including but not limited to P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet financial statements
• Safeguard assets and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by maintaining a sound internal control environment while simultaneously driving efficiency throughout the organization
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing polices & procedures in accordance with policy and US GAAP requirements
• Mentor and develop finance team to achieve business unit goals & objectives
• Partner with all levels of the organization to create financial transparency and identify efficiencies and continuous process improvements both in accounting and operations
• Monitor key performance metrics and assist in root cause identification and corrective action processes to deliver world class performance
• Drive analyses and actions within the business unit regarding price realization, cost savings, commercial activities and improved cash flow conversion
• Oversee selection of new IT systems, software and solutions and support implementations.
• Oversee local IT department to ensure that technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
• Manage outside IT consultants as necessary
Skills and Experience Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
• B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office
• Demonstrated high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures, and processes in a logical manner
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the proven ability to work on multiple projects at once. Should be able to prioritize, work independently, and solve problems, working comfortably under pressure.
