Under the direction of the Director of People Services, the Wellness Program Administrator leads the planning, assessment, implementation and delivery of the employee wellness program offerings and well-being benefits for PriMed employees. Drives initiatives that improve employee health and wellness and helps create a work environment that makes PriMed an employer of choice.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs an annual wellness strategy, drives delivery, and evaluates all wellness initiatives for impact and effectiveness. Partners closely with health insurance provider, negotiating for resources and collaborating to design and deliver an effective health and wellness program.
Develops and executes annual communication plan.
Oversees and drives activities that supports the strategic direction of the wellness program across relevant risk areas inclusive of physical and mental impactors on health. Designs, leads or facilitates access to speakers for targeted sessions to address relevant health issues such as BMI, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, blood pressure, stress in the workplace, etc. Leads employee meetings related to wellness.
Oversees online wellness platform evaluation, implementation, utilization, programming, upgrades, and reporting. Analyzes utilization reports from carriers. Makes recommendations and implements approved items.
Collects, tracks, and reports on biometric data for all employees, timely and correctly.
Contributes to development of and manages costs to the wellness budget to ensure no cost overruns. Seeks timely reimbursement from medical carrier for agreed-to reimbursements.
Leads and facilitates the employee wellness committee to ensure programs are timely and meet the shifting needs of the organization per region. Leads and facilitates wellness committee meetings monthly or as deemed appropriate.
