POSITION INFORMATION
The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager sells new and used vehicles buyers financing, insurance, and extended warranty programs. F&I managers also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs. As with all positions within dealerships, F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
· Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
· Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
· Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
· Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
· Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
· Ensuring the detailed accuracy of all documents.
· Promote and help maintain outstanding CSI
· Maintaining both new and used truck title accountability.
· Registering the truck sale with the OEM to include warranty registration
· This position requires excellent cooperation with both the sales and accounting departments.
· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must have strong organizational and time management skills
QUALIFICATIONS
· A valid Drivers’ license
· An eager, outgoing personality
· Self motivation and a desire for success.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
