Local Tax and Accounting practice is looking to add a Tax and Accounting Manager to our staff. Candidate should have a strong desire for personal and career development.
This individual will manage several areas of the practice including, accounting, tax, and advisory services. 10 years or related experience is required. EA or CPA designation is required. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Train and develop members of the staff
· Review Staff Accountant’s work
· Work directly with assigned clients – meet & review financial statements & tax returns
· Individual and Business Tax Return Preparation
· Input and streamline client data in QuickBooks Online
· Prepare Financial Statements, Budgets, and notice response
· Conducts research as needed
Desired Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
· CPA or EA Designation (Required)
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, ProConnect Online, and Microsoft Office
· Solid knowledge of creating, understanding, and interpreting financial statements
· Ability to work in a paperless environment
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines
· Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with staff and clients

Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
