Who you are: You have been working in public accounting for a small to medium-sized firm and have completed two busy seasons. Maybe you’ve done some small business bookkeeping or worked on state and local taxes. During your career, you have worked with a lot of different clients. You’ve managed some messes and had to troubleshoot to find solutions. You can look at what was done before and pick through information to solve a problem with a lot of autonomy and limited direction. You notice when something stands out and ask questions to seek knowledge.
You are ready to make the move to the private sector to be part of a growing company.
What the job is: Accountants work across many locations as part of an 18+ person team. They are provided the opportunity to cross-train with colleagues and work on department projects and initiatives.
Examples of the daily work Accountants do at Green Diamond:
- Maintain, reconcile, and review general ledger accounts
- Help with month-end close and miscellaneous accounts receivable invoicing
- Manage fixed asset accounting
- Aid with budgeting
- Prepare and review financial reports for variances or exceptions
- Help with third-party and audit inquires

What the department is like: The finance department values and promotes work-life balance for its teammates and encourages each other to grow in their professional careers. The team works closely and will redistribute tasks as needed. Most of the team works remotely, using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Asana to work and communicate.
Compensation: Annual Salary Range: $56,350 – 84,500 per year. The pay range listed is just one component of Green Diamond’s total compensation package. Other rewards include eligibility to receive a company-wide annual financial performance bonus, and the opportunity to receive a performance-based bonus, candidate referral bonuses, and spot bonuses.
