Overview :
Universal Windows Direct – Consumer Financing Manager
As the Consumer Finance Manager, you will be in a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving execution on a direct-to-consumer business focused on home remodeling.
Our manager is working consumer financing, savings and building solutions for consumer finance and accountability and ownership for deliverables and business results.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, creative, and possesses a thinker-and-doer mentality with a bias for making things happen.
Comfort with a matrixed reporting relationship and focus on data driven results is critical.
Pay range : $80,000 to $90,000 per year
Responsibilities :
1. Communication, Communication, Communication and Consumer Relationship :
Manage systems and communication channels to balance responsiveness, transparency, and clarity to foster decision making, understanding and organizational execution allowing consumer finance to support our growth and operational effectiveness.
Work with the business, consumer and Accounting to save and build successful deals.
2. Ticket Management :
Address finance-related tickets from various sources, resolving issues such as expired financing, customer inquiries, and transitions from cash to financing.
Leveraging self and developing systems and process to allow scale.
3. Expiration Calendar :
Communicate with operations regarding finance deals set to expire, expediting install, or extending dates when necessary.
Develop reports and methods to scale and standard while identifying trends and developing to serve our brands and markets in a profitable fashion designed to scale.
4. Funding Report :
Provide the relevant funding reports to accounting and processing teams, verifying that correct jobs are cleared for funding.
5. On-Call Availability :
Ensure availability cross time zones and time frames (evenings included) to assist reps in homes, offering solutions for declines and addressing financing challenges.
Qualifications :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Familiarity with consumer finance strategies in a B2C environment.
Relationship building and fostering skills.
Model accountability and ownership for deliverables and business results.
Collaborative, creative thinker-and-doer with a bias for action.
Travel to Cleveland, OH and other areas as needed is a requirement.
Experience :
Previous experience in finance operations, preferably in a direct-to-consumer industry.
Proven success in handling lender disputes and managing funding processes.
Demonstrated experience in building brand and consumer financing capabilities.
Experience and desire to build and scale a consumer finance capability for a multi brand direct to consumer program.
Continuing education, certification, bachelors degree, and or masters level degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
