Gould Asset Management Looking for Portfolio Analyst at Claremont, CA Full Time

Gould Asset Management is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Portfolio Analyst. The successful candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities including investment research, portfolio trading and accounting, performance reporting, and client relationship management. The Analyst will support other departments within the firm, including sales, marketing, regulatory compliance, technology, and operations. This is a hybrid in-office/remote position, with an in-office requirement of four days per week to begin.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports 
• Compile research for use in investment committee meetings 
• Assist with regular rebalancing of client portfolios 
• Place trades and allocations in client accounts as directed by Portfolio Managers 
• Reconcile daily cash flow and trading information  
• Help write quarterly strategy and market reviews 
• Prepare client and prospect presentations 
• Gather and compile client information for use in retirement plans 
• Coordinate with service staff to resolve client requests quickly and efficiently

• Efficient time management and strong multi-tasking skills 
• 1-3 years of work experience at a financial institution; experience at a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or broker-dealer a plus 
• Strong PC skills, particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and cloud-based applications 
• Experience with Salesforce, Tamarac, and/or MoneyGuidePro a plus; ability to quickly learn new software a must 
• Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team 
• Ability to work independently and think critically 
• Bachelor’s degree required
