Summary: The Accounts Payable Clerk provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring the company completes payments and manages the processing and reconciling of invoices in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Accurately enter invoices into ERP system ensuring timely payment Enter vendor credit memos and post to correct General Ledger accounts Utilize AP software and ensure expense invoices are approved by department head Effectively communicate with all other departments Work with buyers and vendors to keep direct orders current and ensure timely invoicing Reconcile and pay corporate purchasing card Process journal entries to accrue for recurring expenses at month end Maintain prepaid expense spreadsheet and process monthly journal entry to expense prepaid invoices Collect signed capital authorization forms and maintain spreadsheet on capital expenditures monthly Collect and maintain W-9’s and process 1099’s for expense vendors at year end Return vendor phone and email inquiries in timely manner Sort and distribute incoming company mail Responsible for weekly check runComplete credit applications for new vendors and set them up in system Review vendor statements for outstanding credits and invoices Assist with yearly financial audit Live Kelsan’s Core Values Requirements: To perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Attention to Detail-Accurate data entry skills Teamwork – Balances team and individual responsibilities; Supports everyone’s efforts to succeed.
