Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Economics or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of relevant experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy or similar analytical, project management experience.
Experience managing analytics projects from inception to delivery, including developing solutions.
Experience developing teams.
Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of Google’s ads products and of business drivers and value-creation.
Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques and capabilities, with experience driving the boundaries of data and developing novel approaches to shed light on difficult questions.
Ability to distill data into a compelling and coherent story.
Ability to partner with executive stakeholders to define analysis requirements and priorities, develop and execute strategy, and balance short- verse long-term deliverables.
Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, with excellent coaching skills and business acumen.
About the job
Our team owns the finance strategy, business narratives, and delivers insights to enable long-term goals of Google Customer Solutions (GCS). GCS is the sales organization that leads ads monetization through the SMB segment and accounts for a significant part of Ads business growth.
In this role, you will use your leadership skills, deep understanding of sales operations, and analytical ability to lead teams of analysts to drive analytics and insights across Direct, 3P, and Unmanaged portfolios in GCS Americas. You will develop and execute on an analytical agenda that spans regular monitoring of monetization health, identifying opportunities and risks, and using advanced analytics to drive the boundaries of understanding that will inform decision-making to elevate program outcomes and effectiveness.
You will also partner with the GCS Americas leadership team. You will act as a trusted advisor, and deliver high-impact business analytics. With strong analytical skills and presentation skills, you will distill crisp insights on complex, ambiguous topics, helping the executive management team make better business decisions.

Responsibilities
Own the business growth narrative for Americas GCS, providing critical context for ongoing management of the business, strategic planning, and drive program effectiveness.
Lead weekly business review with GCS executives, providing insight into drivers of same store programs business performance (Ads), covering near- and long-term trends as well as underlying drivers.
Partner with GCS finance leads to drive a solid process cadence on quarterly and annual target setting processes.
Lead the team to execute against an ambitious analytics agenda; advocate business analytics across GCS programs, collaborating with global and regional finance teams through core groups.
