The Position
As a true strategic business partner to GeoComm’s President and CEO, the GeoComm Board of Directors, and Granite Partners, the CFO is responsible for overseeing all facets of the company’s financial functions and providing leadership to significantly impact the company’s growth, profitability, capital structure, and strategic direction. The CFO will be an active participant in and driver of the organization’s overall strategy with responsibility for managing the accounting, audit and tax, and finance functions. She or he will lead all financial administration, budgeting, and planning and analysis. The CFO will collaborate with other finance leaders throughout the Granite community and serve as a member of the Finance Affinity collaboration group.

Candidate Profile
The CFO will have a proven track record of success serving as a proactive, strategic business partner and member of a senior management team. The fully qualified candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred. This individual should have a minimum of ten years of hands-on experience in a financial management capacity. Experience in an industry or business model comparable to GeoComm’s is a definite advantage, ideally in a SaaS environment. Experience in the public safety sector with SaaS products and/or in GIS services businesses is an advantage. A background managing an information technology organization while continually matching systems to support the company’s needs is desired. NetSuite (or broad ERP) experience is a significant plus, along with experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Domo, etc.
Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated track record of success in positions of increasing managerial responsibility, including proven results in driving strategic decisions that create value and enhance the overall success of a business. The ideal candidate will have a broad-based business orientation and the ability to manage the financial and administrative responsibilities of the organization. In addition to having outstanding management and financial skills, the CFO must have significant experience partnering with business leaders to achieve objectives. Corporate development/M&A experience is desirable.
The successful candidate must have excellent business acumen and financial aptitude with strong communication skills and the ability to think strategically. She or he will be a financial executive with an outstanding track record and reputation for his/her financial expertise, business judgment, leadership skills, and integrity. This individual must have the ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organization.
