Job Description Summary
GE Digital is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to be part of core Finance team for ‘Power Generation and Oil&Gas (PGOG)’ vertical under GE Digital. PGOG Finance team is responsible for full ownership of ledger and management reporting for PGOG vertical. This includes financials in relation to three main components: Power Generation, Oil&Gas, Predix Platform, as well as other special projects in relation to these main components.
This role will be key in bringing together inputs from different sources to analyze, forecast and report financials for different parts of PGOG business. Finance Manager will partner with leaders across different functions to do scenarios planning and risk analysis. In addition, the individual will support commercial leaders to make strategic decisions on investment and growth opportunities.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Own financial planning and reporting for Power Generation and O&G deals in Americas and provide partial coverage for other regions as needed
- Provide business partnership and finance support to Americas Power Generation and O&G Commercial teams in deal negotiations and financial risk management, partner with legal for contract reviews
- Lead finance deal review process for all new deals, refinances, plan modifications in Americas region for Power Generation and O&G.
- Own Financial planning and reporting for Gas Power M&D and Predix Platform as reported in GE Digital’s management financials, coordination of data both inside GED and between GED and Gas Power.
- Active participation and leadership in monthly closing and P&L/Balance Sheet analysis
- Assist PGOG Finance team in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing daily management and monthly operating reviews to drive continuous improvement within the function.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Strong experience in finance roles
- Proven horizontal leadership, demonstrated with ability to work with peers across multiple functions, including global teams
- Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
