About the Role
The FP&A Manager of Divisional and Cost of Sales Spread is part of the Athleta Brand Finance team supporting the monthly forecasting and close processes as well as the development of annual budgets and long-range planning for your areas of responsibility. The position will work collaboratively with business partners across Athleta, along with our Corporate Shared Service Center and will be responsible for ownership of key lines in the P&L, providing decision support to finance leadership, as well as financial analysis and business case support. The position reports to the Head of Finance.
What You’ll Do
Lead the monthly forecast process for Divisional expense and Cost of Sales Spread, as well as development of yearly budgets in partnership with FP&A and your business partners across the organization.
Lead the monthly and quarterly close process for Divisional and Spread, lending your accounting knowledge to your team, reviewing several high balance accruals and accounting entries across your areas of the P&L.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis, assist modeling, and prepare presentations as required, including presenting work to senior/executive management
Strive for continuous improvement by evaluating current processes, reports, and forecasting models and implementing new methodologies to drive efficiencies and value-added enhancements
Create and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams
Manage two direct reports overseeing Divisional and Spread
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of both financial and accounting concepts, including basic framework of the Profit & Loss Statement, Retail Finance knowledge a plus
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis or auditing/accounting
Master Excel user with experience building reports and financial models
Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Oracle financial systems and Essbase
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify relevant information and present it to management
Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
Organized, detail oriented, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Team player with a positive attitude who is flexible and can handle ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment

Salary Range: $117,500 – $155,600 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
