As Head of Marketing for G2 Track, you will lead marketing for G2’s SaaS Management Software which helps finance and IT leaders manage their software spend and utilization. This is a unique opportunity to lead marketing for a product that is backed by G2’s highly-trusted brand and reputation, and in a fast-growing category.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial marketer who is ready for their next career PEAK leading marketing for a much-needed product. You will need to think like a CMO with a big picture approach to developing marketing strategies, while also rolling up your sleeves to execute on plans, sometimes independently. Your success will be measured based on how well you drive G2 Track’s market awareness, grow pipeline and revenue, and support our sales team in closing more deals.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with the product, sales, and customer success teams.
In This Role, You Will:
Set the strategy and plans for our G2 Track marketing efforts across all channels and tactics.
Implement and optimize the marketing plans and develop key performance metrics for all marketing investments.
Develop cross-channel campaigns to impact awareness and develop our pipeline.
Be hands-on in executing your plans, including leading events, developing content, improving the website, creating pitch decks and sales materials, and more.
Sell in your plans across marketing, sales and product and establish yourself as a business-wide influencer with cross-functional buy-in.
Stay current on competitor analysis and educate the business on those insights.
Manage and optimize the G2 Track marketing budget and supporting resources.
Provide input and be a partner to the product management team as they develop and optimize the product roadmap..
Participate in sales calls and get feedback to improve sales assets, training, and messaging.

5+ years of experience at a fast-growing SaaS company.
In-depth knowledge of B2B marketing and working with a direct sales team.
Enjoys being scrappy and working quickly to solve problems with a lean, close-knit team.
Skilled at prioritizing, managing expectations, and effectively executing on marketing projects.
Can interpret traffic, usage, and pipeline data to make informed recommendations and prioritize marketing efforts.
Have high adaptability, including the ability to navigate ambiguity and rapid change.
Loves to write (and help others write) jargon-free messaging and content that captivates, educates, and converts.
Bonus points if you:
Have supported marketing for data or SaaS management technologies previously.
Have previously marketed or sold to IT or Finance leaders.
