Do you thrive on building and developing hard-working teams? If so, this role might be for you!The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating a digital experience that attracts, engages, and converts our target audiences.
This role will drive business growth by creating and carrying out strategies for all digital properties and experiences (global websites, product selection tools, e-store, etc.
We will action the digital marketing technology (Martech) stack roadmap and partner with marketing, content marketing, and the sales team to create digital, self-serve buying experiences.
Our team will also be responsible for driving organic traffic growth via SEO strategies and tactics. Further, we will develop and grow a digital team that collaborates cross-functionally and instills a digital-first culture throughout Gems.
Essential functionsImplement the digital transformation strategy roadmap stay on top of emerging industry trends and developments to concept and evolve our short and long-term digital strategy roadmap and marketing technology stackDevelop and implement global SEO strategy to attract and convert visitors define requirements, tasks, and resources to enact program that improves keyword position in the SERPs and drives organic traffic to Gems global websites;
we will : + Work closely with product, commercial and content teams to align on SEO for all web content+ Perform ongoing keyword research to find opportunities to continually take share in SERPs+ Identify targeted SEO content (individual and content hubs), work with content team to action+ Partner with developers to continuously improve technical performance of site (ex : page load speed)Own and manage all websites and digital properties the Digital Marketing Manager and their team will : + Maintain all global websites and manage content through CMS and website partner as needed+ Ensure digital experiences exceed current standards for both UX and compliance (including privacy)+ Work closely with commercial, product and content teams to meet needs of customers and business+ Develop and implement best-in-class product selection tools and other self-service functionality+ Evolve e-store solutions to meet the current / future expectations of customers in a digital-first world+ Hire and manage outside vendors / agencies as needed to build, implement and maintain systemsTrack and report on all digital marketing and web metrics (Daily Management) : Measure and report performance of digital marketing initiatives and work with team to identify and implement countermeasuresAdditional projects and responsibilities as required at the sole discretion of the Director of Digital MarketingExperience required+ Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and empower an impactful marketing team capable of driving many concurrent projects to successful completion+ Demonstrated ability with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for B2B products / technology+ Proven experience managing digital properties (content management, compliance, localization, etc.
2+ years of experience with SEO tools such as : Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Search Console, etc.+ Experience sourcing and effectively managing outside agencies and consultants for digital projects / initiatives+ Ability to work cross-functionally and translate tech requirements for non-digital team to facilitate progressFortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
