Full Job Description
Ford of Upland is looking for an outgoing, energetic, and experienced Automotive Financial Services Manager to join our sales team. This position will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of finance and insurance products to new and used sales clients, while providing a level of customer service in line with a prestigious brand such as Ford. Ford of Upland is a locally owned family run dealership serving Inland Empire and the surrounding area for over 60 years.
Responsibilities:
- Development of a Financial Services Menu of products and services to offer clients during their vehicle purchase.
- Foster relationships with financial institutions such as but not limited to Ford Financial Services and other lending institutions.
- Negotiate with lending institutions for the most favorable terms for our clients and Ford of Upland.
- When required, collect, submit, and monitor credit applications, liaising with the client and institution to provide any documentation to aid with the approval process.
- Provide customers with thorough explanation of all protection products offered through our Financial Services Office
- Schedule, monitor and act as a liaison between the sales and service department to coordinate vehicle deliveries.
- Provide ongoing training to the sales team on the benefits of the available protection plans offered through the financial services department.
- Set goals and strategies to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts
- Complete all relevant paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring full compliance with store policies.
- Understand and apply the principles of The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) to ensure our client’s personal information is always protected.
Qualifications:
- You must possess a valid sales license and a valid driver’s license.
- You have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and staff (verbal and written)
- You are detailed oriented, organized, and can work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
- You have strong analytical skills and an aptitude for numbers and financial markets.
- You have strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Experience:
- Previous experience in Financial Services or Sales Associate role is preferred but we are willing to train and develop the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $180,000.00-$280,000.00 per year
