Summary
Reporting to the Business Unit Controller, the Finance manager ensures that costs are properly recorded in the project cost ledger and that program estimates to complete are complete, accurate and approved by program management.
The Finance Manager will also support pricing activities and special projects and analyses as required.
This position requires to work from the office in Mountain View.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned) :
Analyze and prepare periodic program estimates to complete (EAC’s). Review with program managers and obtain necessary inputs and approvals
Daily review of detail cost accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of the job cost ledger
Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
Investigate cost variances as required by local management and perform analysis to ensure the integrity of accounting records
Prepare and present summaries of program financial performance for internal / external dissemination across varying levels of management
Providing documentary evidence in support of proposed costs in negotiation of CAS covered contracts.
Assist with physical inventory
Provide adhoc analysis and reports as needed and requested by Site Controller
Interacts with functional peer groups regarding exchange or presentation of information.
Prepares monthly reports such as backlog, Ops. Excellence KPI’s, EAC summary report, Quad 80 / 20, etc.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and / or customers.
May be tasked to change the thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university
5-7 years of directly related experience and / or training;
Experience with revenue recognition ASC606 is a plus. Knowledge of government contractor accounting, FAR and CAS.
Exceptional MS Excel skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP / MRP Software.
Follows all import / export requirements, consulting with facility import / export personnel as required.
Basic Knowledge of ISO and / or AS9100
U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
Salary Range :
$118,800.00 – $199,100.00
