Role Overview
Fisker Inc. is looking to hire a talented Senior Revenue Accountant to join the team.
Job Description:
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Drive the monthly revenue close process, including deferred revenue, revenue accruals, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue reporting, and flux analyses.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities related to revenue.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Determine monthly accruals for unbilled revenue and cost of sales per internal accounting policies.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly and year-end close related to revenue.
Assist in the improvement of the revenue accounting processes.
Collaborate with peers to discuss process improvements and best practices.
Actively contribute to SAP and other systems tests and implementation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position will be Hybrid.
Key Competencies
Requires attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.
Strong ability to communicate across all levels of company to support AR resolution – including getting in the details of individual cases.
Solid analytical skills with ability to deep dive into groups of accounts or claims to determine root cause.
Good skills with Excel with the ability to slice and compare data from the SAP system to gain better insights into reconciliations.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experiences with large corporations related to revenue. Accounting Firm or public company experience preferred.
Strong background in Microsoft Office, highly proficient in Excel.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Expected Salary Range: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
