As the Procurement Analyst for this growing consulting and IT managed services company, you will be the central procurement point managing the function across the organization. This is an opportunity where you can apply knowledge of IT software, SaaS, services, and hardware with your skills in process improvement, negotiating, and collaborating with others throughout the company. Your primary responsibilities will include procuring IT-related products for the organization and for customers of the organization, obtaining vendor quotes, generating customer orders, billing and invoicing, processing, and tracking shipping and receiving, and establishing and maintaining scalable procurement processes. This is a contract-to-hire position. Hybrid work arrangement (3 to 4 days in the office and 1 to 2 days working from home)
What you will do:
Analyze requirements, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and data needs required to procure various IT-related products/services
Solicit and evaluates purchasing proposals on behalf of the organization
Create purchase orders/sales orders for the organization with proper account codification
Ship and receive products for both internal and external customers
Perform audits on accounts to ensure proper billing for recurring services
Work with sales team to help generate customer order forms
Work with vendors to obtain vendor quotes and assist in opportunity registrations

Responsibilities:
Work with teams to help manage existing and future vendors to ensure compliance
Prepare and manage monthly credit card reports and accruals
Manage and monitor cost savings by negotiating and investigating supplier offerings while adhering to budgets and customer contracts
Advise team members or management on the appropriate supplier to be used
Implement purchase/leasing contracts (when applicable) that comply with company and government regulations
Assure on-time delivery, at the negotiated price, and to agreed quality standards
Implement and comply with company procurement policy to govern spending (domestic & international)
Education, Skills, and Experience Needed:
Typically, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
Ideally, 3-5 years of procurement experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
IT procurement experience or knowledge of IT-related products and systems used in a corporate/enterprise environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to multi-task and solve problems by using resources available
