Description of Duties:
The overall focus of the Regional Manager is to provide leadership to the assigned region. The Regional Manager plays a key role in creating a culture of service excellence to FHI Managers, Associates, and Customers. The Regional Manager upholds the purpose, vision and values of FHI and ensures all direct reports demonstrate the same commitment. The Regional Manager is responsible for Region-wide implementation and maintenance of consistent systems and processes that lead to excellence in all daily operational procedures. He/she is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of corporate Safety systems and processes that improve the safety culture and reduce the negative impact of injuries. Shall also recommend and implement safety processes and procedures at the operations level. Implements clearly defined expectations for Managers within assigned Region. Conducts Site/Departmental audits within the established schedule and duties. The Regional Manager is responsible for Leadership Development including, but not limited to, developing their Managers in team building, creating positive and efficient cultures, any additional systems/processes that lead to operational excellence, and effective host communications with the necessity for a customer- service mindset and actions. The Regional Manager is also responsible for complying with and auditing direct reports for conformity with all FHI Human Resources policies, practices and procedures to ensure consistent compliance with all legal employment practices. Ability to travel 25%.
Qualifications Required:
High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to speak and write English for effective communication. Basic math skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Mental reasoning capabilities and mature problem-solving skills while managing multiple priorities. Interact respectfully and courteously with employees, co-workers, management, customers and vendors. Demonstrate safety consciousness and set tone for safe, productive, respectful work environment. Demonstrate understanding of preventive measures to reduce freight and property damage. Demonstrate interest in and understanding of all FHI policies and procedures and other employment issues. Leadership skills and ability to supervise people and production effectively. Must have valid driver’s license and pass consumer background checks.
