The Studio Media Manager will report directly to our Senior Creative Director and will collect project specifications, oversee the production of photo and video deliverables, oversee the review process, seek approvals and then deliver finished creative pieces to requesters and our marketing team for distribution to the public. Our Media Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and overall productivity of our photo studio and video studio production partner. The management, productivity and scheduling of our photographers, editors and video production partner. Media Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and overall productivity of our photo studio and video production team. Our Media Production Manager will be responsible for the procurement, storage and removal of product and props for both photo and video productions to include the orderly, safe and efficient condition of our studio space and storage areas. This position will work daily in our Monterey offices and studio and will be required to occasionally travel to Santa Cruz for video shoots and attend locations shoots around Monterey County. Applicants should be qualified to drive rented vehicles on occasion.
Skills
Applicants should have some experience working with photographers and/or videographers from an assistant or studio manager capacity. A degree in photo or video production is desirable but other workplace experience will be considered. This role requires an extremely organized and self-motivated personality, experience in managing staff is a plus. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential. Software and hardware knowledge on Macintosh based platforms with skills in programs such as Outlook, Excel, Capture One, Lightroom, Premiere are desired however experience in other editing software will be considered.
