Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: North Scottsdale, Az
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 Depending on Experience
Employment Type: Full Time with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, and Vision)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm
Job Description: Accounting Manager needed in North Scottsdale
We are a growing innovative healthcare company in Scottsdale, AZ looking for an Accounting Manager to help with our growing business. This position will help maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This position will work closely with our Controller and Staff Accountants to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and payments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree and 3-5 years of experience and is familiar with the accounting software Quickbooks.
The ideal candidate will be personable and easily approachable, with a positive can-do attitude, and a mindset that is solution focused. We are looking for an individual who will bring value to our company through their overall common sense, passion for their trade, and ability to think strategically. The selected individual will be working closely with the company’s founder, leadership team, and current Controller, to find ways to cut costs, improve the business financial outlook, and expand the company.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Accounting Manager’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Assisting the Controller to oversee accounting operations of the Company
Help create an organizational structure within the accounting department to facilitate the achievement of the Companies short term and long term goals and objectives
Supervise and verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Reconcile Accounts
Job requirements:
A four-year degree in Accounting or an accounting related field is preferred
3-5 years of accounting experience
3-5 years of management experience
Must be detail oriented and professional
Strong administrative organization skills
Hardworking, dependable, self-motivated, and responsible
Experience in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Point of Sale is a plus
