Accounts Payable – Responsible for obtaining proper approvals for payment, coding invoices, entering into accounting system and preparing payments. Maintain open and paid vendor invoice files.
Accounts Receivable – Responsible for preparation of customer invoices. Ensure that customer payments are recorded properly. Maintain Aged Customer Accounts Receivable listing. Perform collections of accounts receivable by direct contact with delinquent accounts. Enter and update collection notes in the accounting system.
Bank Account Reconciliations – Responsible for monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts.
Fixed Assets – Maintain accurate list of all Fixed Assets reconciled to General Ledger. Maintain accurate Fixed Asset depreciation schedule. Record monthly Fixed Asset depreciation and any gain or loss on any disposition of Fixed Assets.
General Ledger – Responsible for entering any and all standard monthly journal entries. Responsible for entering any journal entries as directed by Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller or Controller. Responsible for maintaining General Ledger schedules as directed.
Inventory Control – Responsible for reconciliation of physical inventory to general ledger. Ensure that proper inventory control procedures are followed. Assist with physical inventory as required.
Other Duties – Any and all other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller or Controller
