Job Title: Finance HR Manager
Where: 500 Allerton Street, Redwood City 94063
Onsite, 8-hour shift Monday – Friday, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $35 per hour, with full benefits
El Centro de Libertad is a non-profit agency in Redwood City and Half Moon Bay whose mission is to provide substance abuse Outpatient Treatment services to adults and youth living in urban centers and rural communities of San Mateo County.
We are seeking a full-time Finance Department Supervisor. The ideal candidate must be organized, detailed, and able to work both individually and within a team. Should be self-motivated, friendly, pick-up new tasks quickly and problem-solve. The individual will report directly to the Director of Finance.
Duties:
- Understanding of AP and AR processes, basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Reconcile credit card and bank accounts
- Ability to accurately and timely process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions on a consistent basis
- Maintain customer, vendor, payroll, and HR files
- Execute and maintain time and attendance processing and payroll interfaces
- Ability to communicate both written and verbally with vendors and others inside and outside the organization
- Producing and interpreting basic financial reports such as Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
- Assist with onboarding, garnishments, and HR compliance
- Process daily receipts and client payments
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Two years of General Accounting experience
- Two years of QuickBooks experience. NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Payroll experience. Paylocity and ADT are a plus.
- Working knowledge of and the ability to efficiently operate all applicable computer software including a working knowledge of computer applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- COVID-19 Vaccination is strongly encouraged
