Education Advanced, Inc. is seeking a Financial Planning Manager with experience in either a SAAS or recurring revenue technology company. This role will collect and analyze financial information order to track the organization’s progress against financial goals. Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making. Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls. Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements, reports, and KPIs.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze our current financial standing and policies
Manage annual budgeting process; Develop budgetary strategies
Manage quarterly re-forecasting process
Analyze budget to actual results; Write management discussion & analysis discussion
Analyze the market and forecast trends
Quantitative mathematical analysis of company finances
Preparation of monthly financial reporting to board of directors & banking partner
Recommend financial courses of action
Create and present KPIs and reports for leadership team
Coordinate across teams to meet financial goals of the company
Create systems/processes for managing cash flow and gathering company data
Forecast market trends and revenue
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years’ experience working for a SaaS software company or recurring revenue tech company
Experience working with a private equity investor strongly recommended
Develop strong trust-based relationships across the organization
Performs work under general supervision
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical thinking skills
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Highly proficiency with financial modeling and financial reporting software
Strong leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics preferred
3+ years financial planning experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability and desire to adapt and acquire the skillset needed to meet the demands of our rapidly growing company
Occasional Travel Required (Domestic and/or International)
Other Duties as assigned
