You Will:
The Regional HR Manager will continuously optimize operational efficiencies. The Regional HR Manager will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise in multiple jurisdictions and locations with over 1200 employees. Will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice. Will play a key role in the success of the organization’s HR processes, procedures and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between Team Members and Senior Management.
Responsibilities
Direct and lead a Team of Administrators and Recruiters to ensure our policies and procedures are consistantly executed.
Drive and implement all recruting activites and strategies.
Serves as Coach and Mentor to multiple Stations and Terminals.
Training, Development, and Talent Management – Talent Development coach and liaison for General Management. Conduct annual training, as necessary.
Partner with Management to establish Human Resources strategies.
Policy Administration – Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures related to Human Resources.
Provides advice and consultation to operations, safety, finance, and HR management.
Change Management – recommending changes, innovative approaches, policies, and procedures.
Benefits Administration – advisor on leave of absences.

Championing employee engagement.
Employee Relations Management – manages internal and external complaints within the region from notification through resolution.
Skilled in investigations and interactive dialogue.
Participates in collective bargaining process, grievances, arbitration.
Deploy, implement, and ensure the CBA is followed.
Assist with responses to discovery requests
Process and vetting of employee separations.
Coordinate performance manager program by ensuring performance expectations and policy guidance is being met.
Provide day-to-day assistance to all levels of management.
Regular attendance that is punctual and dependable is required.
Performs project work and other duties as assigned.
Travel as required to and from JFK and EWR Airport
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, training. Three to five years progressive Human Resources experience.
PHR or SHRM preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of HR best practices; local, state, and federal employment law and regulations
Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Customer focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, create a team environment
Detail oriented, with ability to track task progress to completion
Demonstrated ability to motivate, collaborate and lead
Highly organized with ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
Must manage confidential matters with appropriate discretion
Ability to travel as required (up to 20%)
Must deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
