Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, asphalt, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. We are hiring for the position of Manager, Tax located in our Brentwood, Tennessee corporate office.
The Manager, Tax prepares and maintains tax records, returns, reports and other related materials. Participates in the development and implementation of tax strategy. Devises legal means to minimize tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Recommends alternative tax treatments to alleviate or reduce tax burden.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and detail review of the quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 necessary for quarterly SEC financial statements, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation review
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley within the tax department
Assist with tax planning, tax research, and special projects including the Research & Development Tax credit, transfer pricing, jurisdictional tax modeling, and other planning projects
Leverage data and process automation tools to create a seamless flow of data from source, through calculations, to audit-ready supporting work papers for tax provision and compliance
Serve as mentor to one or more employees, which will include training and developing staff, as well as providing honest and timely performance feedback
Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience
5+ years in income tax related field
2+ years supervisory experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Finance or related field
Experience with OneSource Tax products
Experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740
Experience working in a large public accounting firm or corporate tax department working on large consolidated corporate groups
Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience
Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
Ability to manage competing priorities
Master’s degree in Taxation preferred
CPA license preferred
