The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Director of Finance, to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As Director of Finance, you will be responsible to lead and direct organizational and financial planning and reporting, accounting practices, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control requirements, and provide analytical support for new business proposals. Our ideal candidate will have casino / gaming industry experience.
Starting salary at $140,000/ annually + bonus potential + comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and interpret financial information to appraise operating results such as profitability, performance against budget, capital planning, cash forecasting.
- Direct financial profit and loss and cash flow statement reporting based on past, present, and future operations.
- Develop and measure key performance metrics, analyze business trends, financial results and offer suggestions for efficiencies across the property.
- Lead the implementation of financial related projects and system implementation changes at the subsidiary.
- Liaison between internal company financial and accounting departments to exchange information and resolve issues.
- Guide the audit and compliance team on compliance and reporting requirements within the subsidiary including Gaming Commission & Racing & Wagering Board Rules, Regulations, and Minimum Internal Controls, Anti-Money Laundering Policy, GITCA, DN accounting policies, and procedures, alcohol awareness, and PCI compliance.
- Review audit findings and assist in the development of action plans and enforcement of the agreed-upon solutions.
- Direct the cage department operational needs, control requirements, procedural efficiencies, and resolution of guest complaints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
- 10 or more years of experience in finance and accounting, with 5 to 7 years in a financial management role as controller or finance director. Previous experience from a gaming or casino environment required.
- Proven leadership experience directing multi-faceted teams such as accounting, audit, and compliance teams.
- Experience with compliance reporting.
- Strong analytical, communications, and strategic skills with proven experience as a strong, effective leader of teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use internal financial software and programs is a must.
- Ability to obtain applicable Gaming Commission license.
