FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Lucille and Jay Chazanoff School of Business of the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York invites applicants for a position as a Lecturer in Finance, in the Department of Accounting & Finance, beginning in the spring semester of 2023. We seek candidates with outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to serving the institution and its community. In addition to teaching and mentoring of students, further responsibilities include committee and department assignments such as administration, supervision, and other functions.
CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
The College of Staten Island (CSI) is a City University of New York (CUNY) senior College organized around two academic divisions and three schools, with a total population of around 11,000 students. The Chazanoff School of Business, with approximately 1,700 majors, is home to the Con Edison Trading Room which is equipped with 12 Bloomberg terminals, a stock ticker, and multiple data feeds and display screens. The School offers an AAS in Business, a BS in Accounting, a BS in Business with concentrations in Management, Marketing, Finance, and International Business, and a BA and a BS in Economics. A BS in Information Systems & Informatics is offered in association with the Department of Computer Science. The Chazanoff School also offers an MS in Business Management with tracks in Strategic Management and Business Data Analytics, an MS in Accounting, and an MS in Healthcare Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
An earned advanced degree at the Master’s or PhD level in Finance, Investment Analysis, or other appropriate area is preferred. Relevant professional experience in financial markets, lending or corporate finance is desirable, as is a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring in Finance, Investing, Banking, or other related subjects. Current degree candidates will be considered; however, their degree should be conferred prior to the first day of classes of spring 2023.
COMPENSATION
$72,280-$92,878
