HATCHERY MANAGER
Cooke Aquaculture USA, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s Freshwater Management Team located in Eastport, Maine.

The Role:
As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Lumpfish Hatchery Manager to our team of professionals. As a leader you must be able to exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met. Excellent people management and communication skills are essential to build an effective team and organizational relationships.
Primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for the daily operations and production at a Recirculating Sea Water hatchery.
- Meeting quality standards for Lump Fish production.
- Foster a culture of safe work and environmental sustainability.
Qualifications/Requirements/Attributes:
- Experience within a hatchery environment.
- Possess strong background in general operation and maintenance of life support equipment.
- Strong background in fish health and husbandry.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Preference will be given to applicants with related post-secondary education and experience.
Salary commensurate with experience which includes a competitive 401k program, health, dental, and vision benefit package.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
