About the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority:
Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (“CHFA”) is a self-funded, quasi-public organization. Reviewing payment plans and applicable verification records for each eligible file for funding approval against various back-up documents; compiling a summary report of all reviewed payment plans, preparing the funding package for management approval, and confirming and recording the servicer/vendor received funds and they were applied as instructed. Meeting the requirements of approving 5 applications per day, totaling a minimum of 25 for the week.
Provide assistance in obtaining necessary servicer &/or vendor information, updating system of record. This position may fill in for other Program roles as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Associates degree in business, finance or economics and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience in the residential mortgage field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires some knowledge of mortgage loan servicing procedures. Default mortgage servicing knowledge preferred. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office products that includes proficiency in MS Excel spreadsheets and ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary and/or licensed software packages. Requires familiarity with mortgage terminology and mortgage documents. Must have analytical and problem-solving skills as well as organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented and able to work expeditiously and with accuracy to adhere to stringent deadlines.

Salary Range: $57,088.00 – $70,000
