As a leading international organization, our experienced Conexus team is committed to ethical, best practice nursing by improving the working lives for our candidates and for our clients. The Payroll Coordinator supports this through effective delivery of payroll administrative tasks.
The Payroll Coordinator ensures that the tasks required to run payroll for Nurses is processed on time and to the service levels agreed, with a focus on customer service and accuracy.
The role holder will work closely with teams across the organization.
Relevant experience for the role
Experience of processing and/or administering payrolls.
Customer service experience, responding to enquires in a timely and accurate manner.
Data entry and data management.
Looking at how to improve process and making suggestions for improvement.
Relationship building with stakeholders across multiple departments.
Educated to Bachelor level or equivalent experience within healthcare staffing or similar industries or functional roles.
Job Duties
- Responsible for gathering information on hours worked by nurses and accurately processing the required information within the required business and payroll system(s).
- Ensures that Paid Time off records are maintained.
- Completes work according to departmental deadlines and procedures.
- Responds to payroll questions from nurses and clients.
- Creates new hire records within the relevant systems and ensures data accuracy.
Domestic travel may be required to other Conexus locations as appropriate (rarely)
