Job Summary
The CFO will lead financial operations, guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures while protecting assets by establishing and monitoring controls
Role Responsibilities
-Develop and execute financial strategies in support of the company’s growth objectives.
-Collaborate with senior leadership to advance and integrate finance, HR, and IT functions.
-Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
-Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process.
-Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
-Monitor progress and changes, report ongoing financial status to senior leadership.
-Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
-Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system.
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of new legislation, adhere to requirements, and advise management on needed actions.
-Lead and coach the finance department to the next level of excellence.
-Ensure month-end close and reconciliations are delivered timely and accurately.
-Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile.
-Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
-Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
-Maintain banking, financial, and other external partner relationships.
Job Qualifications
-Minimum 7 years of professional experience within Business finance or accounting.
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, MBA, or equivalent is preferred.
-2+ years experience in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff.
-Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
-Advanced financial analysis, planning and forecasting skills
-Knowledge of the health and government compliance is a plus
-Proficiency with accounting software, financial reporting tools, and MS Office.
Compensation & Benefits
-Salary range is $150k – $200k – commensurate with experience
