Role Summary
Commure is looking for a team-oriented, high-impact Finance Manager who can stand out as a strategic business leader. You will report to the Director of Finance.
You will be responsible for supporting our financial planning process, reporting on KPIs and financial results, and leveraging financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
A strong work ethic, high professional standards and the capacity to get things done independently and with limited oversight are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Be a strategic advisor to various departments to assist in understanding key drivers and influence business decisions to improve revenue growth
Own end-to-end accountability on spend decisions by working closely with internal accounting team and budget owners across the organization
Own full P&Ls for various business divisions, and determine success metrics and budgets for various teams
Develop financial models from scratch to support strategic initiatives, including partnerships, pricing and M&A
Proactively monitor and analyze trends of key operational and financial performance indicators
Own preparation of various presentations to the Executive Team
Lead FP&A activities around monthly reporting, company model actualization, variance commentary, forecasting, etc.
Lead various portions of annual planning, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting processes to deliver predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps and timely identification and implementation of corrective action
Advocate and implement FP&A best practices, driving efficiency and reporting accuracy through process improvement and system implementation
Requirements
5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally a combination of experience in FP&A at a Technology company,Investment Banking, Equity Research,Venture Capital, or Private Equity firm VC / PE
A curious and highly analytical approach to problem solving
An ability to extract business insights from analysis
Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
Proficiency with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau and Power BI a plus
A strong understanding of GAAP
A solid understanding of the key drivers of a SaaS business
The ability to distill and simplify complex financial concepts for all individual contributors, people leaders, and executives
A desire to build processes that scale and take initiatives to completion
A history of building trust and effectively collaborate cross-functionally, but can challenge when necessary
A bachelor’s degree and strong academic performance
