Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Monitors / report cash receipts.
- Research and solve payment/billing/credit discrepancies.
- Close A/R monthly; review, correct and distribute reports as requested.
- Accurately prepares/posts journal entries.
- Assist with standard cost accounting and inventory control.
- Reconcile general ledger.
- Submit monthly journal entries to the Plant Controller.
- Submit monthly checklist to the Plant Controller.
- Assist in month end preparation and month end financial reporting.
- Assist in SOX audits.
- Maintain SOX procedures.
- Support quality and environmental systems.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or as determined by the interviewer.
