Job Summary
Responsible for providing financial and operational analysis to senior management in support of business unit decision-making, looking for risks and opportunities. Capital budgeting and forecasting along with reviewing and analyzing KPIs for the business unit are key components of this position.
Job Description
This position attends a Comcast office in a hybrid and flexible work environment.
Core Responsibilities
Partners with functional leadership in budgeting and forecasting capital expenditures, and metrics. Creates month end narrative outlining drivers of budget and forecast variances.
Leads team of analyst to ensure financial controls and approvals are in place for all Heartland capital expenditures
Partners with senior management to support business planning and operational processes throughout the year
Analyzes operational and financial data/performance metrics, communicates findings and risks as well as makes suggestions to improve processes.
Supports business unit management and other departments with informational requests and special projects.
Possesses understanding of Company policies and procedures and continually implements and reviews procedures and policies for consistency.
Trains, supervises and develops Finance staff. Leads the day-to-day performance of the Finance team and relays to upper management suggestions for work performance improvement.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Strong analytical skills.
Forecast and budget experience is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Construction Labor is a plus.
