The Indirect Procurement Sr Specialist will assist with sourcing activities which support internal and external partners while delivering efficiencies and optimization in the Marketing Spend Category. The primary responsibilities include ensuring that a sound sourcing process is implemented in compliance with the Global Procurement guidelines while promoting the utilization of procurement methodology through brand, category management and strategic sourcing activities, as well as supporting partners in Marketing mainly.
We look for a sourcing specialist with strategic sourcing/procurement experience in Marketing spend categories with excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to work independently and keen on working in cross-cultural working environment. Someone who demonstrates clarity and passion in driving a shared vision, objectives, values and principles.
Main Duties and
Responsibilities:
Lead the engagement of the internal partners, understanding local marketing business context while building a pipeline of projects that have the highest innovation, cost reduction and growth potential.
Deliver the current and long term Global Procurement Priorities
Lead the roll-out and seamless execution of the Global and Divisional Marketing strategies for Marketing & Promotion.
Collaborate with external partners to develop Sustainable solutions
Development and execution of the Procurement strategy to handle Advertising spend
Execute pre-sourcing, sourcing, and post- sourcing activities
Lead requests for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) for goods and services through procurement eTools.
Partner with Legal to negotiate and finalize goods and services contracts
Analize NA Commercial spend to identify key growth and simplification opportunities
Participate in Industry events to stay current related to standard methodologies, and bring new insights to the organization.
Work closely with the Supplier Diversity team to plan and execute a solid diverse spend strategy.
Lead/support other Commercial projects as needed
Prepare and present price trends and forecast during Budgeting process for the managed spend categories
Work closely with Finance to align key cost reduction projects
Qualifications:
Required qualifications include:
BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business or similar

years of Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, CS&L or Financial experience
Preferred qualifications include:
Google tools proficiency
An advanced degree (MBA) is desirable.
Experience using Procurement eTools
Experience using SAP
Experience in Supplier Relationship and Contract Lifecycle Management
Salary Range $108,000 – $120,800 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
