The Manager of Billing Patient Financial Services will manage all patient financial services functions involving billing and credit and collections. The Manager of Billing Office Patient Financial Services will be responsible for the evaluation and implementation of policies and procedures.
The Manager of Patient Financial Services and Billing Office will have management responsibilities including training, directing, operations, fiscal accountability, staffing, personal management and staff development. The Manager of Patient Billing Services will assure compliance of regulatory requirements, facilitate communication and provide effective leadership.
The ideal candidate for Manager of Patient Financial Services and Billing Office should have Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years Patient Financial Services or Billing Office management experience required in hospital acute care setting. The Manager of Patient Financial Services Billing Office will need to have experience working with billing, collection and reimbursement procedures required. Medicare and Medi-Cal knowledge is required. Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT’s, APC, DRG’s, etc.) is preferred.
