Finance Manager, Local Representative Markets (LR CoE)

Job Summary

The main objective of the Finance Manager, LR CoE is to support the Partner Markets Region and FP&A Lead in all finance aspects including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, opex management and management reporting.

In addition, this role will equally business partner with EU/Russia LR team and EU Finance Lead to support and oversee distributors working closely with internal and external stakeholders. This requires providing financial support for financial cycles, to run the business as well as providing strategic guidance, modelling and analysis to enable decision making. The role will also liaise with Local Representatives in markets.

The role is based in the US and will require some flexibility to support the Europe based commercial and finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports FP&A Lead in maintaining LR CoE financial reports (actuals, projections, budget). Drives its optimization and supports decision-making process with relevant financial analyses.
• Supports FP&A Lead with LR CoE financial data consolidation and recurrent reporting requirements towards Intercon Region and other above market functions. Ensures co-operation within region.
• Supports EU/Russia Finance lead and GM in providing transparent analysis of financial performance, trends and R&O to enable proactive performance managements.
• Simplifies and communicates complex finance numbers in a persuasive manner that is useful and understandable by a diverse audience. Assesses risk and provides alternative solutions and contingency plans to help to meet LR CoE financial targets.
• Works in close liaison with LR CoE FP&A and EU Finance Leads.
• Develops accurate OPEX forecast & ongoing actuals monitoring
• Supports finance teams in implementation, problem-solving and reaching objectives. Acts as a team member in creating/maintaining LR COE finance plans. Demonstrates flexibility.
• Business partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive common objectives
• Cost center management and performing account reconciliations
• Provides appropriate analyses to support accounting estimates
• Participates in ad-hoc projects in support of various initiatives
• Flexibility to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Experiences & Skills

• University Finance Degree or Professional Finance Qualification.
• Passionate and a strong willingness to learn LR business
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability. High level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to be both clear and concise.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with a solid accounting foundation.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to continuously drive process improvements and streamline activities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, partner with senior management, and be a trusted and reliable source of information, analysis, and support.
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Knowledge Desired

• Extensive understanding of Financial Database Systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.), Financial Analysis, and Reporting & Planning Processes
