Role Synopsis

The Finance ERP Transformation Program will report to the VP SAP ERP Transformation and will work closely with the other Program Leads in support of efforts that will ensure the ERP Transformation is effectively executed across the globe and that the benefits are realized.

This role is part of Global Business Services (GBS), ERP Transformation Team, a team whose objectives underpin the overall Finance vision of creating and protecting value through innovation, insight, and stewardship. The team’s objectives are to lead the efforts to establish a single global ERP Financial template that will incorporate standardized global processes, a common data taxonomy and simplify our ERP landscape. This includes partnering with I&E and global and business stakeholders to also manage interdependent processes and tools for an agile, consistent, and collaborative execution of change.

Accountabilities

• End-to-end program management and successful delivery of the migration of Finance activity from multiple heritage ERP systems into SAP S/4 Hana – including integration of interfacing systems and tools.
• Overseeing & directing the execution of the Global Finance ERP Transformation program across the various businesses, regions, and sites .
• Coordination of activity across all program workstreams (change, process, data, I&E) to ensure adequate management of integration points, dependencies, and risks.
• Managing the overall organizational change and ensuring timely and effective communication to stakeholders.
• Ensuring the execution of program activity to planned scope, time, and budget. Additionally building a solid business case with measurable benefits and robust monitoring.
• Collaborating to develop an agile and sustainable operating model.
• Lead the ERP Transformation Program delivery in accordance with functional and system requirements and translate these into detailed executable plans.
• Energize and guide the delivery teams/squads to execute the vision and roadmap for the Finance migration to S/4 Hana.
• Cultivate an environment of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement by tackling challenges and incorporating lessons learned
• Plan and manage execution of program deliverables to schedule, quality, budget, and scope.
• Lead program integration – develop, own, and maintain the Finance S/4 transformation execution roadmap.
• Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of the program squads and interdependencies.
• Manage and resolve risks and issues that arise or are escalated including removing blockers or obstacles to the delivery teams.
• Develop consistent reporting format and cadence to communicate program status, risks, and mitigations to governance board.
• Manage senior Finance & business stakeholders around the move the S/4 Hana and impacts of the change.
• Ensure strong Finance and business engagement confirming all activities are delivered to the plan and roadmap.
• Prepare Regions, locations & respective teams for deployment requirements.
• Monitor and control program budget for resources and overall activities.
• Certify business readiness to steering and governance boards.
• Collaborate with various project or application owners for consistency across multiple systems and enterprise groups.
• Lead the collaboration among delivery teams/squads on process, technology, and data related change impacts for input into program/project deliverables.
• Ensure agile methods, standards and delivery approach is followed.
• Perform risk mitigation planning and ensure business continuity plan is documented for the program

Significant Business Transformation Experience

• Understanding of business transformation projects, including data & process change activities
• Experience in implementing process & organizational change, including continuous improvement, in a large-scaled project environment.
• Experience in agile lean portfolio management and associated tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)

Desirable criteria & qualifications

• Significant exposure to global operations is a plus
• ERP specific Project management experience and knowledge of (e.g., 6-Sigma, Visio, ARIS, Informatica,) is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Performance management experience, including the definition, analysis and reporting of performance metrics
