Furthermore, you will be responsible for value creation through mergers and acquisition-led ?deals, commercial negotiations and integration of business opportunities.?
Transformation – driving digital transformation (centralising, digitising, optimising) across all elements of the finance entity to ?achieve sector-leading cost-performance.?

Who we are
The Terminals & Pipelines PPM (Planning & Performance Management) team is a global group with a remit that spans our core BP Business and external Joint Ventures. As a result, we work across multiple financial reporting standards and support local leaders up through the VPs of operations.
About the role
The T&P PPM Finance Manager drives value creation for BP’s global terminal, pipeline, and logistics operations. This includes operations across the U.S. & Europe, as well as multiple Joint Venture partners & businesses. The role is responsible for a range of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities, including forecasting and analysis of pipeline operational and financial metrics/KPIs.
The Finance Manager leads a team of 4 financial analysts, responsible for the reporting, forecasting, and overall financial delivery of gross margin, cash costs, capex, and all related KPI’s for our global Terminals & Pipelines business. This position will work closely with the business finance and commercial teams, to ensure that projects & operational activities are progressing as expected, identify areas of variance to forecast and highlight opportunities to improve financial delivery. Ultimately, you will lead the development of the quarterly forecast, annual plan, and multi-year strategy as well as performance analysis in support of performance reviews, and identify/lead key continuous improvement projects
This is an opportunity to gain experience interacting and communicating within the business. with both the operating business and the global FP&A organization, interfacing directly with Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams in the Midstream business, as well as communicating performance with senior leaders in the business. Key accountabilities
Be the lead global finance contact for T&P Finance PPM, with a focus on forecast accuracy, commercial insight, and process improvement.
Manages a team of direct reports, ensuring the appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools, and responsibilities are in place to deliver the plan and deliver excellence.
In line with continuous conversations, have regular honest and constructive dialogue with team members to support performance and career development.
Communicate performance through multiple levels of leadership (Team leaders through VPs) both for our consolidated business as well as the MLP and our JV partners.
Manage the integration of European & US financial planning and reporting workstream
Coordinate and prepare the submission of the pipeline financials plans, short-term forecasts, and multi-year strategies.
Essential education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required – preferably in Finance or Accounting. (MBA, CFA preferred)
Significant experience (8+ years) in financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis
Ability to interpret and communicate financial information with transparency provide insights to deliver business improvement and to optimize and protect value.
Good command of written and spoken English
Experience managing and balancing multiple stakeholder groups
Desirable criteria
Strong influencing abilities to build consensus and engagement with key partners at all levels and across the organization
Ability to lead change and prioritize team workload in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytic skills, commercial acuity and understanding of business drivers, with related business experiences are preferred
Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Excel, Access, VBA, SQL, etc.
SAP experience (Front end, Analysis for Microsoft Office)
Energy industry experience, with emphasis on Pipeline and Logistics
