The Global Brand & Creative Strategy team works at the intersection of art, business, and technology to create and systematize powerful visual experiences for the BCG (Boston Consulting Group) brand. In addition to laying and maintaining the foundation of an aligned and holistic brand identity, we help bring emerging firm capabilities, entities, and offerings to life by imagining new expressions that push the boundaries of our core design. We bring consistency to a multitude of initiatives launched across the firm, with the objective to empower all BCGers to be brand ambassadors. This is a dynamic role, providing the opportunity to be a part of both branding and design work streams at a Global level.
Your tasks will include:
Stakeholder management: forge close relationships with internal teams such as practice area managers, internal functions & marketing teams. Build working relationship with Design Studios & Global Production to ensure brand consistency on all deliverables
Building Awareness: educate teams across BCG on the overarching BCG brand and design systems that are offered
Brand stewardship: partner with internal stakeholders across the Marketing organization to support their branding needs. Monitoring and assessing requests received through the Global Brand & Creative Strategy team channels
Project Management: lead initiatives and projects; setting up project teams, cadence, key milestones/tasks, tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and report to teams on outcomes and opportunities
Vendor management: support the branding operations team external resources and talent to ensure capacity and timeline management of projects
Collaborate closely with branding, design, and publishing operations teams to ensure alignment, efficiency, and efficacy across diverse branding workstreams
Highly proactive with a “get things done” approach, driving to outcomes
Strong work ethic and able to work autonomously
Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a matrix organization
Critical thinking and organization skills for various asset platforms, and project boards
Core BCG skill set, including excellent problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, able to generate trust and endorsement especially with all levels of seniority within the organization
Fast learner: ability to manage competing priorities
Confident written & verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player
Elevated level of energy, and enthusiasm for the BCG brand
The candidate must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and be able to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business.
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing or Design
3+ years’ experience in a Marketing, Brand Management or Communications role.
3+ years’ experience working cross functionally and a great relationship builder
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
Familiarity with collaboration tools, methods, and processes such as Trello, Slack, Miro , Figma
The Global Brand & Creative Strategy team. The Branding Ops sub team includes Global Brand Director & Global Brand Senior Manager. You will also work closely with numerous stakeholders across BCG i.e., Internal, Practices Area teams and local marketers. The BCG Global Brand and Creative Strategy team partners with stakeholders tailored to their specific branding needs. We look to provide an integrated point of view from narrative to visual, and together work to both cultivate the vibrancy of our brand and ensure all brand plays stay consistent with the larger BCG brand.
