Who are you? You could be the Finance Manager for our NA Finance team!

The Finance Manager is responsible for performing duties related to the Finance Operations functions for the Bondi Sands North America team. The role will partner cross-functionally with various North America functions and the Global Finance team when performing duties. Finance responsibilities include leading month end close, forecast/budget coordination, and preparation of insightful financial reports. Additionally, this role will reconcile accounts receivables including following up with vendors, reconcile bank accounts and invoices, and manage accounts payable including setting up payments.

You will report into the Director of Finance and assist in delivering Finance & Operational excellence across several facets. This role will partner with various North America Business functions, such as Sales, Marketing and Global Finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or CMA a plus

· Accounting experience 5+ years required

· Financial reporting, owning and leading month end closing process

· Audit Experience 3+ years required

· Accounts payable/receivable 3+ years required

· Payroll and utilities 2+ years required

· Treasury 2+ years

· Cash forecasting 2+ years

· Revenue and expenditure variance analysis 2+years

· Capital assets reconciliations a plus

· Bank statement reconciliations 2+ years

· Fixed asset activity experience a plus

· Operations, logistics, and supply chain experience a plus

· Experience in the consumer products and/or retail industries a plus

Skills & Abilities

· Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task in fast-paced start-up environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally

· Must be detailed-oriented, organized, and highly productive

· Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, PP, Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, sum-if, index-match, graphs, charts, etc) and financial systems savviness

· Understanding of operational logistics, supply chain experience a plus

· Record of process improvements/efficiencies

· Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities

· Affinity for CPG/FMCG products and retail

Major Activities

• Coordinates and leads month end closing process
• Develops and amends SOP’s to align with corporate and financial policies
• Monitors and analyze accounting data and produces financial reports or statements
• Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinates and completes annual audits
• Assists the Director of Finance in all audit prep work and interface with auditors.
• Improves systems and procedures and initiates corrective actions
• Assigns projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meets financial accounting objectives
• Establishes and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Supervises the payroll function, ADP system, and timekeeping system.
• Ensures accurate application of federal, state, and local payroll wages and hour laws.
• Leads the preparation for the organization’s annual Workers’ Compensation audit.
• Ensures timely transmittals (deposits)
• Prepares monthly/quarterly and annual cost reports
• Assists the Director of Finance in the preparation and presentation of the organization’s annual budget.
• Supervises and directs the work of the Sr. Financial Analyst during month end closing process
• Responsible for treasury management including cash receipts, daily and weekly tracking of cash-flow requirements.
• Supervises the monthly bank reconciliation process and notify the Director of Finance of potential issues.
• Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Manages and updates all financial data utilizing the Xero accounting software program.
• Assists the Director of Finance to evaluate business proposals and initiatives.
• Provides overall credit card management and expenditure tracking.
• Keeps Director of Finance well informed regarding activities, pending issues and potential problems.
• Special tasks or projects, as assigned.
• Assist with the preparation of all North American financial reports, including functional reporting for local leadership
• Coordinate the preparation of various month end related decks
• Manage weekly reporting across the North America business
• Completing necessary state and federal tax requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
