Bolster is seeking a passionate and motivated Director, Strategic FP&A with strong SAAS experience. This is an opportunity to be an influential member of a high performing team at a fast-growing security start-up.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development and execution of the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish ambitious financial goals and strategic initiatives that align with the company’s high-growth trajectory in the SaaS market.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly/quarterly business reviews, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive financial performance in the B2B SaaS context.
Forecasting and Modelling: Develop and refine robust financial models and forecasting methodologies to assess business performance, predict future outcomes, and support rapid growth planning in the SaaS industry. Continuously improve forecasting techniques to enhance accuracy and provide early warning indicators.
Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to understand key business drivers, identify opportunities for growth, and evaluate investment decisions. Act as a strategic advisor to senior management, providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and guidance on revenue optimization.
Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of financial strategies that support and accelerate the company’s high-growth objectives. Evaluate new business initiatives, expansion plans, and market penetration strategies. Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies to inform decision-making and identify areas for growth.
Capital Allocation and Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and return on investment assessments to support capital allocation decisions.
Leadership: Lead a high-performing FP&A team capable of supporting the company’s rapid growth trajectory. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) in financial planning and analysis and strategic finance, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
Strong understanding of B2B SaaS business models, recurring revenue recognition, unit economics, and key SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV).
Demonstrated experience leading and managing an FP&A function in a high-growth environment, including a track record of successfully building and developing high-performing teams.
Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, key metrics, and forecasting techniques specific to the B2B SaaS industry.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable.
