POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for providing administrative support to the IT, PMO & Security departments with operational planning, budgeting and financial controls. Acts as the central point of contact for corporate finance regarding budget variances, financial analysis, and IT cost allocations. Works across the organization to ensure all technology spend is centralized in IT to get the best rates possible and to prevent purchasing of redundant technologies. Responsible for IT procurement and contract management. Acts as the coordinator/liaison for Legal, Strategic Sourcing and HR functions related to contract staffing. Works proactively to ensure contract renewals are handled in a timely manner, works with technology owners to negotiate with vendors, create deliverable-based agreements, and create standards for MSA and SOW conditions. Tracks and reports on vendor spend and contract renewals. Coordinates vendor relationships for specific work and manages inventory of all active vendors. Collaborates with vendor owners and Enterprise Architecture on technology strategies to select on target vendor partners. Accountable for complying with company policies and all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities.

• Necessary Contacts: This position will interface with all levels of management, both within IT as well as with senior management in the Finance, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk and Human Resource departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or financial field required.

Work Experience

• 7 years of finance and IT vendor experience. Experience can run concurrently.
• 3 years of people management experience required

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead the work of employees and provide feedback/counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop processes that are streamlined, efficient, and transparent
• Work with IT leadership to define a yearly budget and track actual spend to plan through the year
• Work with IT leadership to define financial improvement objectives and report monthly metrics against the defined targets. Develop trending reporting for IT management
• Work with corporate Finance to allocate IT costs to the appropriate projects and ensure that project reporting for IT spend is accurate and timely
• Manage the outsourcing process for the IT, the PMO and Security and work with IT management to leverage the sourcing options effectively (staff augmentation vs. managed service)
• Act as the central point for IT vendor management, and track vendor SLO’s/SLA’s to evaluate vendor performance for all technology contracts enterprise wide
• Coordinate the purchasing and contracting for hardware, software, and services acquired by IT to ensure corporate policies and procedures are followed
• Work with IT leadership to allocate IT costs to the appropriate business area and manage reporting of IT costs
• Manage all IT financial and vendor management reporting needs
• Produce ad-hoc metrics reports and financial reports as needed by IT leadership
• Review and mature the interactions with other departments to ensure efficiency, specifically Finance, Legal, and Strategic Sourcing
• Attend meetings and events to represent IT as needed
• Track IT open positions and position numbers for IT management as needed
