Job Summary: Provides support with planning, design and construction projects, building information and CAD drawing assistance. Must think creatively about spatial organization while maximizing utilization and efficiencies. Interacts with a dynamic cross section of medical center departments and staff.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Manager of Space Planning on planning and construction projects; including data analysis and reporting, move matrices, and large-scale planning efforts.
2. Coordinates and assigns tasks to Space Planning Associates in addition to providing technical guidance and training. No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
3. Manages the Medical Center’s CAFM space inventory and is responsible for developing and maintaining data to support space utilization, allocation, and planning on a 2.9 million square foot campus.
4. Develop occupancy solutions of varying scale and complexity, migrating plans, and sequencing group-level moves/relocation. Develop and/or modify database queries and generate reports for special projects and in response to user requests.
5. Work with various user groups to identify project objectives and innovate creative solutions, always with a Human First mentality. Utilize Evidence-Based Design principles.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Planning preferred.
2. 3-5 years related work experience required.
3. Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Project management skills preferred.

8. Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service and staff training to meet customer service standards and expectations for the assigned unit(s). Resolves service issues in the assigned unit(s) in a timely and respectful manner.
