You will collaborate with Aviva’s Advised Wealth Platform Sales team, specifically developing sales of our exciting range of in-house investment solutions by contacting and developing working relationships with firms of regulated financial advisers.
This is a great job for someone who has experience in sales gained from working within the UK Wealth or Investment Management Industry and is looking for a new challenge and wishes to further their career working for the UK’s leading Insurance, Wealth and Retirement business.
A bit about the job:
Develop new Aviva fund sales through direct contact with financial adviser firms. Identify and build valuable relationships with key individuals across these firms to create the optimum potential to influence increased sales
Collaborate with an aligned team of Advised Platform account managers and business development colleagues to identify investment sales opportunities
Build a strong understanding of the diverse needs of Advisers in this market and how Aviva’s investment solutions can optimise their business needs/client solutions
Understand the market landscape and any regulatory changes in the Savings and Retirement industry and share information with the broader team
Take responsibility for risk-based decision-making, encouraging effective management of key risks, embedding a risk-aware culture, and developing required risk and control skills
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Expert knowledge of investments demonstrated in a qualification or significant progression towards achieving a relevant qualification (either the Investment Management Certificate or a recognised QCF Level 4 qualification in financial planning)
Relevant experience and demonstrable success in fund sales and how they interact with different product wrappers, either at an investment group or a life & pensions company
Knowledge and understanding of financial planning, including risk profiling and tax wrappers
Excellent sales and negotiation skills, building innovative ways to promote products
Preferably an understanding and experience of working in an intermediated UK retail sales environment. Knows about the role of financial advisers and the regulatory environment they operate in
What you’ll get for this role:
Starting salary between £55,000 – £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
