Job Title: Finance Lead
Located : 100% Remote Role Must sit in the following states: California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington or Arkansas*
Placement type : 6-month Contract-to-hire
Workplace Type: Fully Remote
This individual will be joining a health and wellness consumer products company focused on expecting mothers and children. This individual will serve as their Finance Lead and will be responsible for a hybrid role consisting of 30% accounting-related duties and 70% finance responsibilities. This person will report to the Controller and serve in an elevated capacity working cross functionally representing the accounting/finance teams and the other functions of the business including sales, marketing and their brand teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Knowledge of accounting and ability to review financial statements
Hybrid mix of experience with accounting and finance
Minimum of the last 3 years in a Sr. Financial Analyst or Financial reporting role
Advanced Excel skills- Pivot tables, lookups, Macros
Finance software- Essbase or Jet Reports
ERP- large ERP experience preferred SAP, NetSuite, Oracle; Navision preferred
Responsibilities include Accounting, GL reconciliation, Month-end reporting and close duties, Internal controls, Audit, and compliance support.
Financial reporting- creating, developing and maintaining existing reports; Will be tasked with creating new reports based off business unit requests. Reports include: P&L, Profitability, Margin Analysis, Variance Analysis, Flux Analysis, Vendor spend, Cost analysis and more.
Special projects and reporting requests.
Weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
