Asplundh is looking for an FP&A Manager to join our team. This role will help scale our FP&A discipline and drive corporate modernization efforts, across both operational and back-office facets of the business. The FP&A Manager will partner with business leaders to convert operational data into insights, create forecast models to analyze options, and influence critical business decisions. Position Description:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual with a background in finance or other related field. This role will work directly with the CFO and the business segment controllers. Segment FP&A functions will have a dotted line to the FP&A Manager. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated strong analytical experience and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/areas of responsibilities efficiently and accurately. This role will mentor the segment FP&A staff and grow the overall FP&A function within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze organizational budgets and perform periodic planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the entire corporate office
Develop key performance indicators measuring the financial health of the organization, assigned units, functions and customer relationships.
Review past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develop models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.
Recommend and track strategies to assist the organization in meeting long-term financial objectives.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to better understand, explain, and influence financial performance
Report actual financial results against targets, provide variance analysis, assist in guidance on future trends, and present findings to Finance leadership
Evaluate and develop financial models to help drive strategic business decisions and identify opportunities to optimize outcomes
Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
Characteristics of Ideal Candidates:
7+ Years of experience in in a business decision-driven analytical managerial role (e.g. FP&A, management consulting, or strategic planning)
Undergraduate degree in a business discipline; MBA preferred
Experience developing models and forecasts to support and recommend business decisions
Excellent business partnership skills with strong communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting timelines
Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative mindset
